The History of WH Grove & Sons

Established in 1896, W.H.Grove & Sons pioneered trading in New Zealand and the South Pacific region. The company began life in a warehouse and office on the Auckland waterfront.  It's founder, W.H.Grove, recognised that the increase in shipping from England and America provided a great opportunity to service and develop trade in the Pacific Islands.

Since those early beginnings, the company has diversified into many aspects of trading with clients now located in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Pacific Islands.

W.H.Grove & Sons have an efficient shipping service capable of moving goods quickly and economically to all parts of the globe.  We can arrange shipping by chilled or frozen container, or, for more urgent deliveries, we can air freight goods to world markets, usually within 24 hours.  Unlike many trading companies, we specialise in the handling and shipment of mixed containers for customers worldwide.

We believe in customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships. Our people are second to none in knowledge, skill and enthusiasm. We will make sure you are looked after, every step of the way.
